Destination : Delhi – Leh – Uletopko – Alchi – Pangong – Khardung La Pass – Delhi
Day 1: Delhi (Arrival)
On your arrival to Delhi, India you will be received by our representative who will assist you to your hotel and will also brief you about your tour. After handing over all the relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you for a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Delhi – Leh (flight)
After breakfast, you will be transported to Airport to board a flight to Leh. On arrival, complete the check in formalities. The day is saved for acclimatization to the high altitude (3500 meter from the sea level) of the town. In the evening, stroll the local market by your own. An overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh (full day Monasteries tour)
After a delectable breakfast, start your tour of spiritual Leh by visiting Spituk Monestry, which was founded in the 11th century and constructed in the series of tiers with courtyards and steps. After seeing the magnificent look of Indus, move towards Phyang Monestry, famous for its unique collection of wall paintings in old Thangka style and the murals of Mahakala. The museum in the monastery gives you an opportunity to get introduced with its 900 year old collection of scriptures, idols and various firearms and weapons relating to Chinese, Mongolian and Tibetian style. In the evening return to Leh and visit Shey Palace. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 4:Leh – Uletopko Camp, Alchi (40 kms)
Have a breakfast and set ready for Alchi and its enroute destinations, GurudaraPatthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Fall of Fame. On arrival, check in to Uletopoko Camp on the banks of Indus River. Post lunch, visit the Alchi village and Monastery, which is founded in the 11th century and known as the jewel of the monastic skill. It is the only monastery of Ladhak that is built on a flat land. Stay overnight at the camp.
Day 5:UletopokoCapm, Alchi – Leh enroute Likir Monastery
Early morning, visit to Ridzong Monastery, which is the only Nunnery Monastery in Ladhak. Then return to the camp side and have breakfast. Pack your bags and start for Lehenroute visiting Likir Monastery with 75 feet statue of Buddha. The Likir village is said to be the oldest village in India. On arriving Leh, check in at the hotel, have dinner and relax overnight.
Day 6:Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh (290 km)
The day starts very early when you will leave your hotel at 5:00 in the morning and set for Pangong Lake which is one of the Asia’s largest brackish saltwater lakes and also known as the hollow lake. Enjoy the mesmerizing glimpse of nature while passing through villages on Chang La Pass. Have picnic lunch at Tsoltak and then drive to Lukung, which is the last point of Pangong Lake that is allowed for the tourists. After experiencing the tranquil azure blue waters and shaky lake shore, later afternoon return back to Leh. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7: Leh – Khardung la Pass – Leh (43 km)
Post breakfast, set for the drive towards Khardung La Pass, which is world’s highest motorable road. The trip offers the magnificent vistas of beautiful valleys and snowcapped mountains. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Leh – Delhi
On this last day of the tour, have a breakfast at leisure and pack your bags and reach to Airport to board flight to Delhi.
Day 8: Delhi (Departure):
