At 08:00 Hrs arrive at Agra Cantt Railway station, our company representative and guide will meet you and take you to visit the visit the marvellous Taj Mahal.
At 08:45 Hrs in the morning, you will be at Taj Mahal to admire the masterpiece of the world heritage. The Taj Mahal built by the famous Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife. Taj Mahal is not a piece of architecture, as other buildings are, but the proud passions of an emperor’s love wrought in living stones. After visiting the Taj Mahal proceed to visit nearby Agra Fort.
At 11:15 Hrs you will be at Agra Fort built of Emperor Akbar in 1565, this fort is made of sandstone and standing alongside with River Yamuna. Shah Jahan son Aurangzeb imprisoned him during the last eight year of his life in this fort, where from he could watch the tomb of his wife. . The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
At 13:00 Hrs, after visiting Agra Fort leave for lunch in a multi cuisine restaurant, the driver will take you to a restaurant of your choice for your lunch.
At 14:00 Hrs, you will proceed to visit another UNESCO world heritage site Fatehpur Sikri and will be there after an hour. The city built by Emperor Akbar in the year 1569 and founded as the capital of Mughal Empire in 1571 but scarcity of water made the city deserted.
Start drive back to Agra at 17:00 Hrs and you will be in Agra at 18:00 hrs, after that you can go for shopping in local market of Agra.
At 20:15 Hrs leaves for Agra Cantt (AGC) Railway Station to board on Shatabdi Train (NDLS Shatabdi – 12001) to New Delhi. Depart from Agra Cantt Railway station at 21:15 Hrs and Arrive New Delhi Railway station at 23:30 hrs.
