Upon arrival at Cochin Airport on Day 1, our Intense India Tours representative will assist you and transfer you to the hotel. After freshening up, take a short walk to the local market. Then return to the hotel for your overnight stay, ending Day 1.

After breakfast, set out on a local sightseeing tour of Cochin, including India’s oldest Synagogue. Continue with visits to the Dutch Palace and St. Francis Church, the oldest European Church in India, where Vasco de Gama was originally buried. Later in the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through Fort Cochin to see the lively European architecture and large fixed Chinese fishing nets along the coastline. In the evening, watch a Kathakali dance performance. Then return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Munnar, the summer resort of the former British Government in South India, famed for its picturesque tea-covered hills. Misty roads, cloudy skies, and amazing views will accompany your journey. On arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy leisure time for the rest of the day.

After breakfast, prepare for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Begin at the Tea Museum to learn about processing India’s favourite brew. Then explore Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundale Lake. In the afternoon, visit Eravikulam National Park, famous for its Nilgiri Tahr and Neelakurinji flowers that bloom once every 12 years. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Thekkady, located on the banks of the Periyar River. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Then enjoy wildlife viewing at the sanctuary on Lake Periyar by boat cruise. Later, take a guided tour of a spice plantation, exploring green farms to experience the true taste and aroma of the spices. Return to the hotel. The evening is free for leisure before your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Alleppey. Famous for its palm-fringed canals, picturesque lakesides, and tranquillity, it is best experienced with an overnight houseboat journey. Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat to explore life on the backwaters. Stay overnight on the houseboat and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of nature, ending Day 6.

After breakfast, disembark from your houseboat and head to Cochin Airport for your onward journey. Depart comfortably, carrying illustrious memories of your India tour as you return home.
