The day is fixed for sightseeing in Bhubaneshwar. Bhubaneshwar is the capital of Orissa and is known as the “Temples City of India.” Visit the most famous temples, including the Dhauli Giri Shanti Stupa, also called the Peace Pagoda. It is situated on the opposite hill of Dhauli Giri. Lingaraj Temple is among the biggest and oldest temples here. It is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The Mahavira Jain Temple near Khandagiri is built in pink transparency. You will feel a sense of wonder at its beauty and its cross-cultural features. Visit the twin hills of Khandagiri and Udayagiri. The Tribal Research Institute Museum looks like a genuine tribal home and was created by tribal craftsmen. You can enjoy the beauty of the village setting inside this museum. Return to the hotel and spend the night.
In the morning, drive to Puri. On the way, visit the famous Sun Temple of Konark. This temple, dedicated to the Sun God, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in the 13th century. The twelve pairs of stone wheels at the temple have wonderful finishing touches. Later, continue towards Puri. Overnight stay in Puri.
After breakfast this morning, visit the Jagannath temple, dedicated to Lord Jagannath. This temple was built in the 12th century A.D by Raja Ananta Varman Chodaganag Dev. You can see wooden images of Subhadra and Balabhadra. These forms of Jagannath are set up in the temple. Also, visit the Loknath Temple. Later, spend your day at the beach in Puri. This beach is a favourite destination for tourists. It is located on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. Here, you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Walk on the sand or enjoy a variety of water sports. Overnight stay in Puri.
After breakfast, begin your road journey to Bhubaneswar. Upon arrival, transfer to the Bhubaneswar airport or railway station for your onward destination.
