DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01 | ARRIVAL IN DELHI

On your arrival in Delhi, India, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel and brief you about your tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02 | DELHI

After a hearty breakfast in the morning, set off for a full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi, covering the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and enjoy the Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Post-lunch, you will visit Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. In the evening, you can visit the President’s House and the India Gate. After a day-long chaotic tour, take an overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 03 | DELHI – SARISKA( Approx. 200 Kms / 4 ½ Drive)

Post breakfast, depart for Sariska. On arrival, check in to the hotel. After freshening up, explore Sariska National Park, the former hunting ground of the Maharaja of Alwar. After exploring the length and breadth of the National Park, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in the forest resort.

DAY 04 | SARISKA – JAIPUR( Approx. 110 Kms / 2 ½ Drive)

The early morning is scheduled for a Jungle Safari in Sariska National Park. After enjoying a thrilling safari, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later leave by road for Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel after freshening up, then take a short walk to Jaipur’s local market. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 05 | JAIPUR

After breakfast, start your tour of the royal city and its world-famous, spectacular heritage buildings. We will start with Amber Fort, where the elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravalli to its entrance is a must-do. Later, we will visit the City Palace, the Central Museum, the Jantar Mantar (Observatory) and the Hawa Mahal. The late afternoon is kept free to visit the famous textile, Gem, Carpet, and handicraft markets. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 06 | RANTHAMBHORE( Approx. 185 Kms / 4 ½ Drive)

Post-breakfast, set off on the road journey to Ranthambhore National Park, famous for its 400 sq. km of dry deciduous forest, a natural habitat for tigers and their prey, and many bird species. It is one of the largest national parks in northern India. The evening is scheduled for a safari inside the park. Stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 07 | RANTHAMBHORE

After tea and coffee, following an early morning safari ride in the National Park and spotting the Majestic Tiger prowling in their territory. Apart from tigers, other animal species include deer, leopards, monkeys, squirrels, mongooses, wild boars, crocodiles, and many bird species. After the morning safari, return to the resort for breakfast and relax. After lunch, your next safari is scheduled in Ranthambhore, return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 08 | BHARATPUR (KEOLADEO NATIONAL PARK)( Approx. 255 Kms / 5 ½ Drive)

Post breakfast, leave for your next destination, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, also known as Keoladeo National Park. The Sanctuary is known for nesting not only resident birds but also visiting migratory birds, including water birds. In the year 1985, it was recognised as a World Heritage Site. On arrival, check in to the resort after freshening up, and visit Keoladeo National Park for birdwatching, spotting around 230 avifauna species, including Great Egret, Parakeet, Painted Stork, and water birds, along with other animals. Overnight in Bharatpur.

DAY 09 | AGRA( Approx. 60 Kms / 1 ½ Drive)

Today, after breakfast at the resort, leave for Agra. On the way, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Fatehpur Sikri. The main attractions are Punch Mahal, Deewan-e-Khaas, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, and Buland Darwaja. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, continue driving to Agra. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free, and an overnight stay in the hotel.

DAY 10 | AGRA

Early in the morning, when the first ray of sunlight falls on the white marble, the view of the Taj, behind the clouds’ colours, is inexplicable. After visiting the Taj Mahal, return to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast, the day is scheduled for a city tour covering Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb, and Mehtab Bagh. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

DAY 11 | DELHI (Approx. 230 Kms / 4 ½ Drive)

After breakfast, set off on the road journey to Delhi. On arrival, check in to the hotel, then relax, or visit the Janpath market area. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 12 | DELHI – DEPARTURE

Post breakfast, to make good use of the time available before the scheduled flight, you may visit Delhi on your own. Meanwhile, we assure you of a safe and happy transfer to the International Airport to board your flight back home, with an illustrious memory of Intense India Tours.
