Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, Nepal, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel and brief you on your tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Post breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. Later visit Boudha Nath, followed by a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Patan Durbar Square. After visiting Patan city, return to the hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast, drive straight to Pokhara, one of Nepal’s most beautiful cities and the second-largest tourist destination. On arrival, check in to the hotel after freshening up, enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake with the mesmerising Mt. Fishtail in the backdrop, and overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will take you to Sarangkot (a 15-minute drive) for sunrise views, return to the hotel for breakfast, and then give you a couple of hours of free time. Afternoon visit Davi’s fall, Gupteshwar Cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp and Seti Gorge. In the evening, you are free to visit the old market of Pokhara, or you can do a boat ride on Phewa Lake. Stay overnight in the hotel.
In the morning, drive straight to Chitwan. On arrival, check in to the resort. After freshening up and relaxing, get ready to visit Chitwan National Park. It is famous for its one-horned Rhinoceros, crocodile and Royal Bengal Tiger. Enjoy a thrilling Jeep or Canter Safari with an experienced naturalist. Return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
After tea and coffee, get ready to visit Royal Chitwan National Park, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy various jungle activities, such as nature walks and bird watching. Chitwan is a paradise for nature lovers and nature walkers. You can enjoy a thrilling elephant safari in Chitwan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the safari, you can spot many wildlife species, such as the Mugger crocodile, Bengal Tiger, and one-horned rhinoceros. In the evening, proceed to a cultural tour to visit the Tharu Village and explore the beauty of sunset at the riverside. Later, have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.
In the early morning, after tea and coffee, enjoy bird watching with an expert naturalist. Return to the resort for breakfast, then drive to Kathmandu on arrival. Check in to the hotel. Rest and relax in the hotel room for the rest of the day. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the nearby area of Kathmandu. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Post breakfast, proceed to Bhaktapur, also known as “the city of culture” and “the living heritage”. Also famous as Nepal’s cultural gem, this city has Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, and Pottery Square as must-visit hotspots. After touring Bhaktapur, continue your journey to Kathmandu. On arrival, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Bhutan’s beautiful town of Paro. The flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular of all mountain flights. During the flight, one can enjoy the views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and other famous peaks. On arrival at the Paro Airport, transfer to the hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around the town’s main street, and overnight stay in the hotel.
Post breakfast, visit Taktshang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, hanging on a precarious cliff at 3120 meters above the Paro Valley. After lunch, visit the other key attractionsin Paro, including Ta Dzong, the National Museum, and Rinpung Dzong. Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Post breakfast, visit Taktshang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, hanging on a precarious cliff at 3120 meters above the Paro Valley. In the morning, drive to visit the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong, a fortress and Buddhist monastery built in 1649 that was completely destroyed by fire in 1950. Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, and continue towards Punakha across Dochula Pass. In the evening, get an opportunity to take a short walk in the local market of Punakha. Overnight stay schedule in the hotel.
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Thimpu. En route, visit Wangdue Phodrang, with major tourist attractions including Chimi Lhakhang, Phobjikha Valley, Gangtey Monastery, and the Bay Lang Dra. Later, continue driving to Thimphu, on arrival, check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, get ready to visit the Buddhist Monastery, Tashichho Dzong, situated on the western bank of the Wang Chu. Also, visit the National Library, the Memorial Chorten, and the Handicrafts Emporium, which are other attractions. Return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.
Post breakfast, proceed to visit Phuentsholing, located on the border of India and Bhutan. It is an important link for visiting the Indian states of West Bengal, Sikkim, and Assam, and also serves as a convenient entry and exit point for Bhutan. On arrival in Phuentsholing, check in to the hotel. After freshening up, visit Zangtho Pelri, Lhakhang, and the Kharbandi Gompa. The Kharbandi Gompa monastery contains paintings on the life of Buddha and statues of Shubdrung Nawang Namgyal and Guru Rinpoche. Later, enjoy the superb view of the Indian plains from the monastery garden towards Phuentsholing. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
On your last day of the tour, leave Phuentsholing for Siliguri. On arrival in Siliguri, transfer to the airport to board a flight for your onward journey home, with an illustrious memory of fabulous India Tours.
