On your arrival in Delhi, India, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel and brief you about your tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
On the second day in India, have breakfast at the hotel, then begin your tour of Delhi. We will visit the Red Fort and Jama Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk. Post-lunch, we will visit Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. And in the evening, we can visit the President’s House and the India Gate, along with the Red Fort light-and-sound show. After a day-long chaotic tour, take an overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, leave Delhi and proceed to Agra. En route, visit Sikandra, home to the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar, built in 1492. Thereafter, continue driving to Agra, on arrival, check in to the hotel. After taking a short break in the hotel, leave to visit the Taj Mahal. The tour continues with visits to the Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah, and Mehtab Bagh. And in the evening, you are free to explore the city at your leisure. The overnight stay will remain scheduled at your hotel.
Starting your day with a glimpse of the marvellous Taj Mahal is the best way to kick-start your day. Visit this world heritage property in the dawn to beautify your mind and soul in the calmest way. Later, return to the hotel to feast on the delicious breakfast, then pack your bags and proceed to Jaipur. En route to Jaipur, we will also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri, home to the Panch Mahal, Diwan-e-Khaas, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, and Buland Darwaza. We will continue our drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel. After taking a short break, enjoy the local atmosphere and delicacies of Rajasthan at your own leisure and take an overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, start your tour to the royal city and its world-famous, spectacular heritage buildings. We will start with Amber Fort, where the elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravalli to its entrance is a must-do. Later, you can visit the City Palace, the Central Museum, the Jantar Mantar (Observatory) and the Hawa Mahal. The late afternoon is kept free to visit the famous textile, Gem, Carpet, and handicraft markets. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After taking breakfast in Jaipur, leave for Pushkar. Known for its unmatched devotional importance, this city is said to have been created by God Brahma himself. With around 400 temples and 52 Ghats, one can feel a strong sense of spiritual positivity here. The attractions of this town are: The Brahma temple and the colourful cattle fair. Overnight stay will remain scheduled at the hotel.
Post breakfast, drive to Jodhpur to explore the glorious history of Rajasthan. The second-largest city of Rajasthan is also well known for the heroic and magnificent history of the Rajputs. On arrival, check in to the hotel, then take a short break before visiting the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Later stay overnight in the hotel.
After breakfast, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, then proceed to Udaipur. En route, you will have an opportunity to visit the Ranakpur Jain temple. Constructed from sparkling marble, this temple is famous for its exquisite architecture and the 1,444 exquisitely carved pillars. After a delightful treat for your eyes, continue driving to Udaipur and, upon arrival, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, visit Udaipur, also known as the “City of Lakes” and the “Venice of the East”. Udaipur has many picturesque backdrops. The tourist hotspots of this destination include the City Palace Museum, Jagdish Temple, and Sahelion Ki Bari. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Later, you are free to pursue independent activities, with an overnight stay at the hotel scheduled.
Post breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Mumbai. Meet our Intense India Tours representative, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After freshening up, get ready to visit the Gateway of India and the Prince of Wales Museum later in the evening. You may relax in the hotel or take a short walk on Juhu Beach. Post breakfast, visit Siddhivinayak Temple and seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Later, you can visit Dhobi Ghat, which is the world’s largest non-mechanised 24X7 open-air laundry. After lunch, you can visit the Hanging Garden and Haji Ali Dargah. In the evening, you can visit the Crawford Market in Mumbai. Return to the hotel and enjoy a comfortable night’s stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mumbai Airport to board a flight to Cochin. Upon arrival, meet our representative who will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. Check in to your hotel and, after freshening up, get ready for a local sightseeing tour of Cochin that covers India’s oldest Synagogue. We will also take a tour of the Dutch Palace and the oldest European Church in India – the St. Francis Church, where Vasco da Gama was originally buried. Later in the evening, take a leisurely walk through the Fort Cochin area to witness the vivacious European architecture and the vast and giant fixed Chinese fishing nets, which are still being used for fishing purposes along the coastline. In the evening, you will be taken to a Kathakali dance performance. Later return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Depart for Munnar, once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. The place is best known for its picturesque tea-covered hills. The misty roads, cloudy skies, and amazing views accompany your ride. On arrival in the hill town, check in to the hotel, and the rest of the day is at your leisure.
After a delicious breakfast, get ready for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. The first stop is the Tea Museum, where you will learn about the processing of the favourite brew of India. Later, explore the beauty of Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundale Lake. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park, famous for its Nilgiri Tahr and Neelakurinji flowers, which bloom once every 12 years. overnight stay.
Post-breakfast, depart for your next destination, i.e., Thekkady, located on the banks of the Pon. After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam by road. Check in to the hotel after freshening up, explore the serene beaches of Kovalam, enjoy a walk and sunbathing, and witness the breathtaking sunset. Later, return to the hotel and spend the night.
Have breakfast in the morning, relax on the beautiful beach in Kovalam, and later take an excursion to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of the Kadamba Hill, also known as Cape Comorin during the British era days.
