When you arrive at Bagdogra Airport or Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you’ll head to Kalimpong. Once you get there, check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. You’ll spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast, join a guided tour of Kalimpong. You’ll visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill, and the Flower Nurseries. In the afternoon, drive to Pelling. When you arrive, check into your hotel and spend the night.
After breakfast, set out for a full day of sightseeing. You’ll see Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, try the Sky Walk (at an extra cost if you like), and visit Khecheopalri Lake. After lunch, explore Darap Village, Orange Garden, and Rabdentse Ruins. Later, browse the local market for Buddhist flags, bamboo crafts, woollen scarves, Tibetan ornaments, carpets, spices, tea, walnuts, and oranges. Stay overnight in Pelling.
After breakfast, check out and head to Gangtok. On the way, you’ll stop at Namchi to see Chardham, Samdruptse, and Temi Tea Estate. You’ll reach Gangtok in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, take a day trip to Tsomgo Lake (also called Changu Lake), a beautiful glacial lake on the way to Nathu La Pass. Take in the scenery, then visit Baba Mandir, a shrine for Indian soldier Harbhajan Singh. Head back to Gangtok. In the evening, you can relax or shop at the local market. Stay overnight at the hotel. (altitude 14,000 ft) On the China border, it can be arranged only for Indian nationals, except on Mondays and Tuesdays, at an additional cost.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day city tour. You’ll visit Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Bakthang Falls, the Cottage Industry, Dro-Dul Chorten, the Institute of Tibetology, the Flower Show, and the Handicraft Centre. Stay overnight in Gangtok.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Darjeeling. When you arrive, check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. You’ll spend the night at the hotel.
Start your day early with a trip to Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise, a highlight for many visitors. After breakfast, visit the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), andlater visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) to see mountaineering gear used by famous Himalayan climbers. Afterwards, tour a tea garden in the valley to enjoy the scenery and learn how tea is made.
You’ll also visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, and the Japanese Temple, built in 1972 and dedicated to Lord Buddha. Later in the afternoon, you can shop on your own at the local market for hand-knit goods, electronics, handicrafts, souvenirs, and woollen clothes. In the evening, visit the Mall. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, you’ll be taken to Bagdogra Airport or Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your further journey back home or to your next destination.
