DAY 01 | ARRIVAL IN SILIGURI -TRANSFER TO DARJEELING

Arrive in Siliguri at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (68 km), Bagdogra Airport (69 km), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (62 km), where you will meet our tour representative for your transfer to Darjeeling.

Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check into your hotel and relax. The evening is at leisure; you may take a short walk on Mall Road or spend a day free at your leisure, or an overnight stay in a hotel.

DAY 2 | DARJEELING

Start your day early at 3:45 AM and head to Tiger Hill, about 11 km away, to watch the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak if the weather is clear. Leaving early helps you avoid traffic. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as the sun lights up the peak.
On your way back, stop at Ghoom Monastery, the War Memorial, and Batasia Loop. If you like, you can also take a toy train ride to enjoy the views.
Later, return to the hotel for breakfast, then continue sightseeing. Visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gompa Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (closed Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed Sunday), and Peace Pagoda. After the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 03 | DARJEELING – MIRIK – DARJEELING(Approx. 58 Kms- 1 Hrs 30 Min Drive)

After breakfast, set out for a day trip to Mirik, which sits 1,494 meters above sea level. The drive includes plenty of scenic spots for photos. In Mirik, you can visit Sumendu Lake, explore tea gardens and landscaped parks, walk through cardamom groves, and take in views of the Himalayas. You might also enjoy boating on the lake or going horse riding.
Head back to Darjeeling in the evening, stopping at Pashupati Market on the India-Nepal border to browse antiques, souvenirs, and imported items. Later, you’ll have free time to explore Mall Road or the local market area. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.

DAY 04 | DARJEELING- KALIMPONG(Approx. 49 Kms- 1 Hrs 40 Min Drive)

Start your day with breakfast. After checking out, travel from Darjeeling to Kalimpong, which sits 1,250 meters up in the Himalayan foothills. Once you arrive, check in at your hotel.
Head out for a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. You’ll visit the Forest Museum (closed on Thursdays), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham, Guru Mangal Das Ji, and Pine View Nurseries, which features only cacti.
After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight in Kalimpong.

DAY 05 | KALIMPONG- GANGTOK (Approx. 73.5 KM- 2 hrs drive)

After breakfast, set out for Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Gangtok sits 1,600 meters above sea level and is a well-known hill town in Northeast India. Its Buddhist monasteries, green landscapes, and mild weather make it a favourite for honeymooners.
When you arrive, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. You are free to spend the evening as you like. Stay overnight in Gangtok.

DAY 06 | GANGTOK

After breakfast, explore some of Gangtok’s top attractions. These include the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, and Banjhakri Falls.
In the evening, you can check out some of Gangtok’s discotheques. Stay overnight in Gangtok.

DAY 07 | DAY’S TRIP TO TSOMGO LAKE AND BABA MANDIR

After breakfast, head to Tsomgo Lake (also called Changu Lake), which sits 12,400 feet above sea level. You can spot Brahminy ducks and other migratory birds here. The oval lake is about 50 feet deep and remains snow-covered year-round.
Next, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial War Temple, about 20 km from the lake. It was built to honour soldier Harbhajan Singh, who died in the 1962 Indo-China War, and has since become a temple.
In the evening, return to Gangtok. If you have time, you can visit Mall Road or simply relax at your hotel. If Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will arrange other sightseeing options for you.

DAY 08 | DEPARTURE FROM GANGTOK

After breakfast, you will receive an assisted transfer to Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, Bagdogra Airport, or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand for your onward journey.
