DAY 01 | ARRIVAL IN DELHI

On your arrival in Delhi, India, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel and brief you about your tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02 | DELHI

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin your tour to Delhi. We will cover the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, and enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Later, visit Raj Ghat, Humayun Tomb, and Qutub Minar. And in the evening, we can visit the President’s House and the India Gate. After a day-long chaotic tour, take an overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 03 | JAIPUR(280 Kms / Approx. 6 hours)

Post breakfast, we will start our journey to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City. On arrival, check in to the hotel. If time permits, you can enjoy the chaos of local streets and the delicacies of Rajasthan at your own pace. And after refreshing your senses, stay overnight at a hotel.

DAY 04 | JAIPUR

After breakfast, we will take you to the nearby Amber Fort, where an elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravalli to the entrance of the Amber Fort is a must-do. In the afternoon, you can visit the City Palace, the Central Museum, the Jantar Mantar (Observatory) and the Hawa Mahal. Later in the day, the day is free for your own activities, or you may visit the famous textile, Gem, Carpet, and handicraft markets. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 05 | JAIPUR-FATEHPUR SIKRI-AGRA(240 Kms / Approx. 5 ½ hours)

Post breakfast, depart for Agra. On the way to Agra, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri, where the main attractions are the Punch Mahal, Deewan- e-Khaas, Tomb of Salim Chishti and Buland Darwaja. After taking a brief tour there, continue driving to Agra. On arrival in Agra, check in to the hotel. After freshening up, you can explore Agra’s rich handicraft traditions and then spend the night at a hotel.

DAY 06 | AGRA

Starting your day with a glimpse of the marvellous Taj Mahal is the best way to kick-start your day. Visit this world heritage monument at dawn to beautify your mind and soul most calmly. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you wish, you may visit Itimad-Ud-Daulah Tomb and, in the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh to see the Taj Mahal from the other side of the Yamuna River. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

DAY 07 | AGRA – TRAIN – JHANSI - ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO(175 Kms / Approx. 5 hours)

After visiting Agra, the next destination would be Khajuraho. Early in the morning, we transferred to the train station and boarded the train to Jhansi (215 km). Upon arrival at Jhansi Train Station, our driver will assist you and take you to Orchha (18 km). Once, a princely state of Bundela Rajput Kings was founded in the 15th century AD. Today, Orchha is famous for its ancient temples and scenic landscapes. Jahangir Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Raj Mahal are the key attractions of this place. After visiting Orchha, get back on the road to Khajuraho (172 Kms). On arrival at Khajuraho, check into the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 08 | KHAJURAHO – VARANASI (BY FLIGHT

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore another World Heritage site, Khajuraho. Divided into eastern and western groups of Temples, this group includes Laxmi & Varha Temples, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, and Devi Jagdambi Temple. Kandariya Mahadev Temple is one of the largest temples, famous for its more than 900 stone carvings.
On the other hand, the Devi Jagdambi Temple is a group of 25 temples built during the Chandela Dynasty, and these temples are bestknown for their erotic carvings. After visiting temples in Khajuraho, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, our Intense India Tour representative will escort you to the hotel, where you will spend the night.

DAY 09 | VARANASI

After tea or coffee, enjoy a boat ride at dawn in the holy river of the Ganges. After a mesmerising morning, return to the hotel. Post breakfast excursion to Sarnath, which is a highly sacred Buddhist religious place, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Later return to Varanasi and attend the prayer ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The overnight stay will remain scheduled at the hotel.

DAY 10 | VARANASI – LUMBINI(320 Kms / Approx. 7 hours)

After breakfast, leave Varanasi and drive to Lumbini, one of Buddhism’s greatest pilgrimage sites and the birthplace of Lord Buddha. On arrival in Lumbini, check in to the hotel, then freshen up and relax for a while in the hotel room. Later in the day, visit the Myanmar Temple, the Maya Garden, the Buddha Stupa, the Japanese temple, and the Vietnam temple. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 11 | CHITWAN(165 Kms / Approx. 5 hours)

In the morning, after breakfast, start driving to Chitwan. On the way, you will have an opportunity to visit Lumbini- the birthplace of Buddha, which is now an important Buddhist pilgrimage centre. After arriving in Chitwan, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 12 | CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK(180 Kms / Approx. 5 ½ hours)

After tea and coffee, get ready to visit Royal Chitwan National Park. Enjoy a variety of jungle activities, including nature walks and birdwatching. Chitwan is a paradise for nature lovers and walkers. Experience a thrilling elephant safari in Chitwan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the safari, spot wildlife, including mugger crocodile, Bengal Tiger, and one-horned rhinoceros. In the evening, join a cultural tour to Tharu Village and admire the sunset by the riverside. Later, have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 13 | CHITWAN TO POKHARA(145 Kms / Approx. 5hours)

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, a key tourist destination in Nepal. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. The evening is free for a leisurely walk along the lakeside. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 14 | POKHARA

Early in the morning, we will take you to Sarangkot (a 15-minute drive) for sunrise views. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Enjoy a couple of hours of free time. In the afternoon, visit Davi’s Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, the Tibetan Refugee Camp, and Seti Gorge. In the evening, you are free to visit the old market of Pokhara or take a boat ride on Phewa Lake. Stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 15 | POKHARA TO KATHMANDU(210 Kms / Approx. 6 hours)

Today, after breakfast, drive to Kathmandu. On arrival, complete check-in at your hotel. Later, enjoy free time to interact with locals, visit Thamel market, or relish local food. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 16 | KATHMANDU

Post breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. Later visit Boudha Nath, followed by a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Patan Durbar Square. After visiting Patan city, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 17 | KATHMANDU

After breakfast, visit Bhaktapur, which locals call “the city of culture” and “the living heritage.” Known as Nepal’s cultural gem, this city features must-visit hotspots like Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, and Pottery Square. Tour Bhaktapur, then travel to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 18 | KATHMANDU – DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU.

TODAY is the last day of the tour. You will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Delhi. From there, continue your journey back home with an illustrious memory of Intense India Tours.
