DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01 | ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, Nepal, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel and brief you on your tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02 | CHITWAN

In the morning, drive straight to Chitwan. On arrival, check in to the resort. After freshening up and relaxing, get ready to visit Chitwan National Park. It is famous for its one-horned Rhinoceros, crocodile and Royal Bengal Tiger. Enjoy a thrilling Jeep or Canter Safari with an experienced naturalist. Return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 03 | CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (Approx. 160 Kms / 6 Hrs Drive)

After tea and coffee, get ready to visit Royal Chitwan National Park, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy various jungle activities, such as nature walks and bird watching. Chitwan is a paradise for nature lovers and nature walkers. You can enjoy a thrilling elephant safari in Chitwan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the safari, you can spot many wildlife species, such as the Mugger crocodile, Bengal Tiger, and one-horned rhinoceros. In the evening, proceed to a cultural tour to visit the Tharu Village and explore the beauty of sunset at the riverside. Later, have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 04 | CHITWAN TO POKHARA (Approx. 145 Kms / 5 Hrs Drive)

Post breakfast, drive to Pokhara, an important tourist destination of Nepal. On arrival, check in to the hotel after freshening up and relaxing for some time. The evening is free to take a leisurely walk around the lakeside. Stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 05 | POKHARA

Early in the morning, we will take you to Sarangkot (a 15-minute drive) for Sunrise views, return to the hotel for breakfast, and then give you free time for a couple of hours. Afternoon visit Davi’s fall, Gupteshwar Cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp and Seti Gorge. In the evening, you are free to visit the old market of Pokhara, or you can do a boat ride on Phewa Lake. Stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 06 | NAGARKOT (Approx. 230 Kms / 7 ½ Hrs Drive)

After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Nagerkot, the second-highest point in the Kathmandu Valley. The place is best known for the breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest. The best time to capture sunrise and sunset pictures is here. On arrival, check in to the hotel and after freshening up, enjoy your day at your own leisure. The overnight stay will remain scheduled at the hotel.

DAY 07 | NAGERKOT - BHAKATPUR – KATHMANDU (Approx. 35 Kms / 1 ½ Hrs Drive)

Early morning, at dawn, get ready to witness the breathtaking, unrestricted view of the Himalayan mountain range from Annapurna in the west to the mighty Everest in the East. After witnessing the beauty of nature, return to the hotel to have breakfast, then proceed to Bhaktapur, also known as “the city of culture” and “the living heritage”. Also famous as Nepal’s cultural gem, this city has Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, and Pottery Square as must-visit hotspots. After touring Bhaktapur, continue your journey to Kathmandu. On arrival, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 08 | KATHMANDU

Post breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. Later visit Boudha Nath and Durbar Square, followed by a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Patan Durbar Square. After visiting Patan city, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 09 | KATHMANDU – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a flight for your onward journey back home with an illustrious memory of fabulous India Tours.
