DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01 | MUMBAI

On arrival at Mumbai airport, meet our representative who will escort you to the hotel and brief you about the tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02 | MUMBAI

After breakfast, proceed to the Elephanta Caves, located on an island a few miles from the Gateway. These caves can be reached by Ferry from the Gateway of India. The rock-cut cave temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The Elephanta caves consist of seven caves, of which the Mahesh Murti cave is of great importance. In this cave, Lord Shiva is shown as a creator, protector and destroyer. In the afternoon, aboard a cruise back to the Gateway of India. After lunch, visit the Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive, Parliament House, and the Jain Temple. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

DAY 03 | MUMBAI – FLIGHT - RAJKOT

After breakfast, transfer to the Mumbai airport to board a flight to Rajkot. Upon reaching Rajkot, check into the hotel. After some relaxation, embark on a city tour of Rajkot, covering major hotspots such as the Watson Museum & Library and Kaba Gandhi No Delo. In the evening, set out on an excursion to Lal Pari Lake. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 04 | RAJKOT - JUNAGADH – SASANGIR ( Approx. 165 Kms / 5 hrs drive)

Post breakfast, proceed to Sasangir. En route, visit major attractions of Junagadh, including Akshar Mandir, Bhavnath Temple, Ashoka’s Rock, and Dataar Hill. After the visit, resume your drive to Sasangir. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 05 | SASANGIR

Early in the morning, after tea and coffee, leave for the early morning safari in the Gir National Park. Return to your hotel after the thrilling safari for a hearty breakfast. Later in the day, free at your leisure till the afternoon. Enjoy another evening Safari in Sasan Gir. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

DAY 06 | SASANGIR – DIU ( Approx. 65 Kms / 1.5 hrs drive)

Post breakfast, proceed to Diu. On the way, visit Somnath. This is an ancient temple town. The Somnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is held in high esteem by Hindus. The temple is built on the shores of the Arabian Sea at the western corner of the Indian Subcontinent. After visiting the Somnath temple, continue driving to Diu. On arrival, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 07 | PALITANA – BHAVNAGAR ( Approx. 255 Kms / 6 hrs drive)

Early in the morning, after tea and coffee, you can enjoy an alluring view of the sunrise at the beach, return to the hotel for breakfast and then leave for Bhavnagar. En route, visit Palitana, the most sacred site of Jainism. There are 863 Temples from the base to the peak of the Shatrunjaya Hill, where the Palitana temples are located. After the visit, resume your drive to Bhavnagar. As you check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 08 | BHAVNAGAR

After breakfast, visit Takhteshwar Temple, built on a small hillock overlooking the city. It offers a breathtaking view of the city and the Gulf of Cambay. Thereafter, visit Nilambagh Palace and the Gandhi Memorial, then return to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 09 | BHAVNAGAR - LOTHAL – AHMEDABAD ( Approx. 220 Kms / 5 hrs drive)

In the morning, have breakfast and then drive to Ahmedabad. Upon reaching Lothal, visit the Harappan site excavations, admired for their extensive nature, scientific orientation, and construction skills. It is a wonder that people during the Harappan Civilisation knew so much about technology. After the visit, resume your drive to Ahmedabad. As you check into the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 10 | AHMEDABAD

Post breakfast, visit the Calico Museum of Textiles. This is one of India’s premier Textile museums for its distinguished and comprehensive collection of Indian textiles. Later, Siddi Saiyad Mosque for its exquisite stone carvings, white-marbled Hathee Singh’s Temple, Jama Masjid, and Sabarmati Ashram. Enjoy your time at Kankaria Lake. Return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 11 | AHMEDABAD - DEPARTURE

After breakfast, make good use of the time before your scheduled flight by visiting any remaining sights in Ahmedabad or going on a last-minute shopping spree. We will ensure your safe and happy transfer to the International Airport for your further journey home.
