On your arrival in Chennai, India, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel and brief you about your tour. After handing over all relevant documents and details of your tour, our assistant will leave you to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Chennai, including major attractions such as St. George, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, and the National Art Gallery. Later, proceed to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is famous for its rich historical, religious, and cultural heritage and has many sculpted temples. After visiting Kanchipuram, continue driving to Mahabalipuram. On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the night there.
Today, after breakfast, start your day by visiting the Shore Temple and other temples in the same complex dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, these rock-cut monuments are the best examples of early Dravidian architecture. In the evening, visit the beach and take a short walk to the local market. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Pondicherry. On arrival, check into the hotel. After some relaxation, get ready to visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville, founded by Sri Aurobindo in 1926 and famous among spiritually minded people. In the evening, visit Pondicherry Museum and the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Post-breakfast, depart for Thanjavur; the city is famous for its temple. On arrival, check in to the hotel and, after a short break, visit Brihadeshwara Temple, famous for its sculpted granite rocks and glorious Dravidian architecture. Later in the day, visit Thanjavur Royal Palace and the Nandi Bull. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Madurai. En route, stop at Trichy to visit India’s largest functioning temple, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, and the Rock Fort Temple, located on the banks of the Cauvery River and offering panoramic views of the city. After your visit, continue driving to Madurai, check in to your hotel upon arrival, and stay overnight.
After breakfast, begin your tour with a visit to Madurai, a city said to be 2500 years old and also known as the Athens of the East. During the day, explore its marvellous temples and attractions, including the Meenakshi Amman Temple, the Gandhi Museum, and Thirumalai Nayak’s Palace. In the evening, check in and stay overnight at your hotel in Madurai.
After breakfast, depart for your next destination, i.e., Thekkady, located on the banks of the Periyar River. On arrival, check in to the hotel, freshen up, and get ready to visit the spice plantation of Thekkady. Later in the evening, leave for a wildlife viewing at the sanctuary on Lake Periyar by boat cruise. Later, return to the hotel. Enjoy leisure time at the hotel for the rest of the day and stay overnight.
Today, after breakfast, depart for your next destination, Alleppey. After the scenic drive, arrive in Alleppey and board a traditional Kerala houseboat, known as a “Kettuvallam.” Experience the palm-fringed canals, picturesque lakesides, and tranquil lagoons on your overnight journey. Spend the night on the houseboat to enjoy panoramic views of nature’s beauty at its best.
After breakfast, depart for Cochin. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take a short break. Begin your sightseeing tour in the afternoon, starting with India’s oldest Synagogue, followed by the Dutch Palace and the St. Francis Church, where Vasco de Gama was originally buried. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through Fort Cochin to admire its European architecture and the impressive Chinese fishing nets, which are still used along the coast. After exploring the city, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast this morning, begin your day by visiting Marine Drive and the Fort Cochin area to take in the vibrant European architecture. Later in the day, proceed to Hill Palace, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, and the Portuguese-built Pallipuram Fort, the oldest existing European fort in India. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, marking the end of your day’s exploration.
