Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative. Our representative will assist you witha smooth transfer from Leh Airport to the hotel, where you can relax and freshen up. Lunch will be followed by a local exploration of nearby places, including restaurants and markets, where you will have time to interact with locals. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Start your morning with breakfast before visiting Thiksey Gompa, located on a hilltop north of the Indus River and built in 1430 AD. View the gold-plated statue of Lord Buddha (Maitreya Buddha) and optionally visit the Indus Valley Monastery. From its roof, enjoy views of the Indus Valley and nearby monasteries. Return to Leh after the visit, have lunch, then proceed to Stok Palace, built by the former ruler of Ladakh. Explore the palace museum and the trekking opportunities. End your day by returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Begin your day by visiting Shey Palace, 15 km from Leh, the former summer retreat of the King and ancient Ladakh’s capital. After exploring the palace and monastery, travel to Hemis Gompa, around 50 km from Leh on the west bank of the Indus River near Karu. Experience its significance as the largest and wealthiest monastery in Leh, especially during the renowned Hemis festival. Conclude the day by returning to the hotel to rest. Overnight stay in the hotel.
This day is planned for an unforgettable drive on the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La. In the morning, after breakfast, prepare for the bike ride from Leh to Khardung-La Pass. Take in the valley’s beauty as you ascend the twisting roads. After returning to the hotel for lunch and some rest, spend the afternoon exploring the prime attractions of Leh, such as Shanti Stupa, Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, Leh Palace, and the Tibetan Market. Return to the hotel for the night.
After breakfast, depart for Alchi, located on the banks of the Indus Valley, with the Alchi Monastery situated 70 km from Leh on flat ground. Discover rare murals and visit the Dhu-Kang Temple. In the afternoon, continue your drive to Lamayuru Monastery, the oldest and largest in Ladakh, where 150 monks reside, and annual masked dance festivals are held. End the day with an overnight stay in the hotel.
In the morning, begin your drive to Nubra Valley, enjoying the scenic journey through the Khardungla Pass, which averages 3048 meters in altitude. The valley lies about 150 km north of Leh. Upon arrival, transfer to the camp resort and proceed to Diskit, the capital of Ladakh district, to visit Diskit Gompa, built in 1420 AD. Continue to Hunder for sand dunes and a Bactrian camel safari. Return to the camp for an overnight stay.
Begin your morning with a return drive to Leh along the same route, revisiting key sights along the way. Upon arrival in Leh, take time to rest at the hotel for the remainder of the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, set out for Changthang Plateau, known for its natural beauty and serene landscapes. Enter via Chang La pass, the third-highest motorable road in the world at 5360 m. Experience the attractions of nomads, lakes, rare birds, and wild animals before proceeding to Pangong Tso, situated at about 4267 m above sea level. In the evening, set up your tent by the lake for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart from Pangong Lake and take the same route back to Leh, passing familiar sights along the way. Upon arrival in Leh, relax at the hotel for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
