Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. After you settle in and freshen up, enjoy lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will explore local restaurants and markets, where you can interact with locals. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
This morning, after breakfast, drive to Spituk village. This village is located on a hilltop, about 18 km from Leh and near the Indus. Once you reach Spituk, start trekking to Zingchen. After slogging through the crack land, you would arrive at the beautiful and lush green Zingchen valley. The Rumbak River flows into the Indus at the Zingchen Valley. Rest for the whole day,then explore and adapt to the place. Overnight stay at the camp.
After breakfast, you start your trek. Hereafter, you can enjoy a beautiful view of rugged mountains and wildlife, including blue sheep and Tibetan Gazelles. Start walking along the narrow path, and the valley widens as you reach Rumbak. Follow the path till the Yurutse Camp. Overnight stay in the camp.
In the morning, after breakfast, you follow the path beside the river until the valley extends. Cross the river toward your right-hand side after walking for a short while. You can see the Golden Eagle nest. Later start upward to the Gangala Pass (Ganja La Pass). From the top of the Gangala Pass, you can view the Stok Kangri peakafter crossing the Gangala Pass and walking towards the bottom of the Shingo. Overnight stay in the camps.
After breakfast, visit Skiu village. Near this valley, you would see several small rivers joining to form a small stream. Feel the wonderful happiness as you view the beautiful valley. Overnight stay in the camp.
In the morning, after breakfast, enjoy a walk to the beautiful region of the Markha Valley. Follow the good trail on the right bank, where you can see the great greenery. The pass leads to Thinlespa, which is connected by several small bridges. Feel the wonderful happiness as you view the beautiful valley. Overnight stay in the camp.
Today, trek from Markha to Nimaling after breakfast. See the lovely valleys along the Markha River as you follow the trail. Continue with the pass, towards the right bank of the river and reach Hankar. The Nimaling is dotted with tiny ponds and small rivers, providing summer pastures for an amazing number of animals, such as horses, sheep, goats, and yaks, that come here from all around the villages, apart from the Markha. White-tailed hares and Himalaya marmots are seen here in plenty. Overnight stay in the camp.
Today is a rest day. Relax at Nimaling and enjoy the excellent landscapes and surroundings. You can walk to the nearby places in Nimaling. Overnight stay in the camp.
After breakfast, proceed on the trek from Nimaling to Chokdo, crossing the Markha Valley. Climb along the mountainside and reach Kongmaru La. Follow the steep downward pass to reach the Martselang valley and enjoy the beautiful views, and cross many streams to reach Chokdo. Have dinner at the camp and spend the night there.
In the morning, the trail continues on a beautiful trek down to the narrow rockyvalley. The beauty of the place is enhanced by the presence of rocks in Martselang, which range in colour. Later, continue driving to the Hemis Monastery,then proceed towards Leh. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, a drive to Alchi. On the way to Alchi, stop and visit the Alchi monastery. This is the only monastery in Ladakh situated on flat ground, unlike others, which are on hilltops. This was built in the 11th century. This monastery is famous for the murals on its ancient walls. Check in at the hotel and complete the formalities. Relax for the rest of the day, thenvisit the beautiful village and the interesting Mangyu Monastery. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Proceed to the Lamayuru monastery after having breakfast in the morning. A visit to the Lamayuru monastery. This is the oldest and the largest Gompa in Ladakh. You will find a small temple near the main building at Lamayuru monastery, dedicated to Avalokiteśvara. After lunch, return to Leh and overnight stay at the hotel.
A drive to Rumtse in the morning. It is situated about 70 km east of Leh. The Rumtse is known for its breathtaking beauty and barren landscapes. This is the first human settlement on the way from Lahaul to Ladakh. Many people are drawn to trekking here. The trek from Rumtse to Tso Moriri is very popular. The Rumtse lies in the Rupshu Valley. While trekking, you can get a chance to come across the wild animals like the wild ass, marmots and wild birds like Brahminy duck and bar-headed geese. Then proceed to Kyamar. After reaching Kyamar, check into the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
On the 13th day of your trip, after breakfast, proceed to Kyamar. You can enjoy a great view of the Kang Yatse chain of hills and the Indus Valley as the gradual ascent towards the Kumur La Pass begins. You would find Changpa nomads grazing their goats, yaks, and sheep on the mountains and seeing wild animals and birds. Relax for a while and proceed to Mandalchan La Pass. Hereafter, you descend to the camping site at the grazing land of Tisaling. Overnight stay in the camp.
You will start the trek to Pangunagu after breakfast. To reach Pangunagu (4398 m), you need to cross the Shibuk La Pass. This pass is located at an altitude of 5016 m. On reaching the top of the pass, you can view the entire lake and also Tso Kar Lake. This lake is salty. Hereafter, descend towards the salty lake. The nomads collect salt from Tso Kar Lake, the only source of salt in this region of Ladakh. Overnight stay in the camp.
A drive in the jeep to TsoKar Lake in the morning after breakfast. You can enjoy watching migratory birds here during the summer as they breed. After exploring Tso Karlake, you can continue along the passes. Walk to the other side of the lake, the path turns right, and you can enter the Nuruchan village. Check in to the camp and overnight stay in the hotel.
In the morning, get ready for the journey to Nuruchan. You need to cross the icy, cold stream in Nuruchan. The pass leads up to the HorlamKongka La. You can view the blue, deep TsoKar Lake from the top of the pass. A walk for around an hour and a half, and you can reach RachungKaru. Then proceed to continue upward to the Kyamayuru La Pass. Overnight stay in the GyamarBarma camp.
After breakfast, the next pass in the path is Kartse La Pass. The path leads to the highest point and, after two high mountain passes, descends to the small village of GyamarBarma. Overnight stay in the camp.
Proceed towards the highest pass on the trek. You can reach Korzok by crossing Yalung Nyau La. You can see the panoramic view from the top of the pass, and your heart will palpitate at the beauty of the high-elevation, freshwater lake of Tso Moriri. After descending steeply, you can reach Korzok Phu. Here you can see the biggest nomad camp. From the grazing point, we need to proceed to the Korzok, which is the spot of our adventure. Overnight stay at Korzok camp.
After breakfast, back to Leh. Check into the hotel and complete the formalities. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can visit the nearby areas of Leh and stay overnight at a hotel.
Next day morning flight from Leh to Delhi and your onward destination
