Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our representative. Our representative will assist you in the smooth transfer from the airport to the hotel, where you can relax and freshen up. Evening, board the air-conditioned Volvo for Manali. Overnight journey in a Volvo.
Morning reach Manali & transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, our guide will brief you on the journey’s instructions. The journey would start by road. The road instructor briefs you on the entire tour plan. You would be provided with maps and information about the place you are visiting, as well as a tank bag. You can experience more fun through the adventure. The adventure would take place on both dirt and smooth roads. You should get hold of the riding Enfield in the varied landscapes of the Himalayas. Back to the hotel for lunch and a short rest. You can visit other places in your leisure time. Some attractions include the Hadimba temple, built by Hadimba Devi in the 15th century. The 17th-century Raghunath Temple was constructed by Raja Jagat Singh of Kullu. The temple is dedicated to Raghunath Ji. Overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Get ready for the world’s highest road for riding. Your journey starts on a motorbike ride on the Manali-Leh highway. You need to travel to Kullu, 52 km away. Take a break in the Kullu Valley and start your bike journey towards Rohtang Pass. You need to climb the Rohtang Pass to a height of 13052 feet. Continuous upwards for about 32 miles between the roadside waterfalls and the lush green Himalayan mountains. After reaching Rohtang Pass, the road descends into the Chandra Valley, passing through Tandi. There is only one petrol pump on the Manali-Leh highway: Tandi. Fill your tank at Tandi and start your journey towards the day’s final destination, which is Keylong. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast, you get ready for adventures among small mountain lakes, streams, bad roads, breathtaking landscapes, and icy temperatures. The ride to higher altitudes. You would first reach Baralacha La. This is the one high-altitude Himalayan peak at 4880m. From here, it would slope downwards, and the ride would bring you to the Sarchu Plains. These plains are covered with snow. Mostly, you would find only tents; there are no permanent houses. Overnight stay in the tent.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you set out on your journey. You would start your journey to Leh on the bike. First, you can reach Naki La Pass on the journey, located at an altitude of 4800 m above sea level. Next, your journey leads to the Lachang La Pass, at 5065 m. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes, high mountains and green plains. You would arrive at the Tanglang La Pass at an altitude of 5300m. This is the world’s second-highest motorable pass. Upon reaching Leh, check into the hotel, complete the formalities, and stay overnight.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, visit Thiksey Gompa. This is located on the hilltop north of the Indus River. This monastery was built in 1430 AD. You can see the gold-plated statue of the Lord Buddha, known as the Maitreya Buddha. You can also visit the Indus Valley Monastery. You can view the Indus Valley and the monasteries of Stanka, Matho, and Shey from the roof of this monastery. Back to Leh city, then proceed to the beautiful Stok Palace after lunch. This was constructed by the former ruler of Ladakh. Many trekkers enjoy trekking at high altitudes. You can find the museum within the palace, which exhibits the royal family’s monuments, weapons used, and history and culture. Overnight stay in the hotel.
The next day, you can visit Shey Palace, which is 15 km from Leh. This palace was the King of Ladakh’s summer retreat. This palace was built in 1665. This city was the capital of ancient Ladakh. The Shey monastery has the largest golden Buddha statue. The Shey palace is up high on a hill. You can see the Hemis Gompa. Hemis Monastery is approximately 50 km from Leh and is on the west bank of the Indus River near Karu. This monastery is the largest and wealthiest monastery in Leh. The Hemis festival is a grand celebration, and the sacred mask dance, performed during it, is the major attraction for tourists. Back to the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
The next morning, a drive to the Nubra valley. One of the major attractions in this trip is the road journey to the Nubra Valley, which leads to the highest motorable pass. The road leads to Khardungla Pass, which, at an average altitude in this valley, is 3048 mtrs. This valley is about 150 km north of Leh. Later, a drive to the camp resort and proceed to the charming valley of Diskit, which is the capital of the Ladakh district. Visit the Diskit Gompa, an ancient Gompa built in 1420 AD. At the Gompa, you would find some beautiful scenic views. From the Diskit drive, go down, and you would reach Hunder. Here, in Hunder, you will find sand dunes and a Bactrian camel safari. The Bactrian camel has two humps. These camels carry heavy loads for transportation, both merchandise and humans. Back to the camp for an overnight stay.
Return drive to Leh, on the same route, crossing and revisiting all the places. Upon arrival at Leh, rest at the hotel for the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, leave for Alchi, located on the banks of the Indus River. The Alchi monastery is situated 70 km from Leh. This is the only monastery in Ladakh situated on flat ground, unlike others, which are on hilltops. You would find the rarest mural in this Alchi monastery. This monastery was built by the famous translator “Rinchen Zangpo” somewhere in the middle of the 12th century. One of the major attractions of Alchi is the 11th-century Dhu-Kang Temple. In the afternoon, a drive to the Lamayuru monastery. This monastery is the oldest and largest monastery in Ladakh. This was founded by Mahasiddhacharya Naropa in the 11th century, who practised meditation here for many years. In the Lamayuru village, you can see 150 monks residing here. There would be two annual mask dance festivals, and all the monks from nearby Gompas would gather to pray at them. Overnight stay in a hotel.
The 11th day of your trip is scheduled for one of the most memorable rides of your life: a ride to the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La. In the morning, after breakfast, get ready for the bike ride from Leh to Khardung La Pass. You can view the beauty of the valley and the roads twisting up the mountain. The Khardung La Pass is a famous tourist attraction for its breathtaking views, fresh air, and its location at the top of the world. Back to the hotel for lunch and a rest. You can explore the prime attractions of Leh, such as Shanti Stupa, Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, Leh Palace and Tibetan Market. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to the Changthang Plateau, renowned for its natural beauty. The landscapes in their emptiness, silence and unbelievable beauty. To arrive at the Changthang Plateau, the main entrance is the Chang La pass. This Pass is the highest mountain situated in Ladakh. It is the third-highest motorable road in the world, at an elevation of 5360m above sea level. The main attractions of this plateau are nomads, lakes, rare birds, and wild animals. Proceed on your journey towards Pangong Tso. This is situated at a height of about 4267 m above sea level. The lake looks deep blue, especially in the evenings, and it is an eye-catching view. This is the highest salt lake in the world. You need to set up your own tent near the lake and spend the night in it.
After breakfast at the camp, get ready for biking to Tsokhar village. On the way to Tso Kar Lake, you need to pass through villages like Rumtse, Upsi, Karu, and finally the Tanglang La Pass. You would reach the Tso Kar Lake. This lake, known as White Lake, is one of the high-altitude saltwater lakes in Ladakh. For high-altitude birdwatching, this is an excellent place. The water is so salty that the local nomads take salt from its banks and sell it. You would see varieties of birds breeding near the lake. This lake is very popular among bird watchers. Overnight stay in the camp.
After breakfast, ride your bike from Tso Kar towards Jispa via Baralacha La, at an elevation of 3,200 m. This would be an exciting bike riding experience for you. After reaching Jispa, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Rest for the whole day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Early in the morning, after breakfast. Start your journey on your bike towards Manali. You need to cross the Rohtang Pass. Take all precautions when riding on hill roads. Enjoy every moment of the ride and the beauty of the places. Once you reach Manali, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Today is the last day of your tour. After breakfast, you can visit the nearby places and the market. Relax till lunch. After lunch in the hotel. Get your luggage ready, then board an air-conditioned bus. Overnight journey from Manali to Delhi. Return home with wonderful memories.
